Glass point holder

Glass point holder - inconspicuous and yet with a high value for indoor and outdoor use. Thus, they not only serve to fix glass panes, but are also a crucial visual factor. And although they seem very insignificant, firstly it is necessary to be aware of the exact model needed, and secondly, they are more detailed to adjust than you think. This is mainly about the possible adjustment of the clamping range.

The clamping range of our glass point holders

So all our glass point holders can fix glass sheets of different thickness. Dimensions between 6 and 18 millimeters thickness are possible (depending on the model). However, not only the dimension of the glass pane is crucial, but also the drilled hole in it. This must be at least 15 millimeters. Because all our glass point holders are equipped either M8 (15mm) or with M10 (20mm) screws. If you want to drill the hole yourself, you must have an appropriate drill. Thanks to the 2-millimeter-thick rubber run-on thickness, a subsequent grinding of the edges of the drill hole is not mandatory, but still recommended.

On the shape of the glass point holders it depends

Of course, the shape must be precisely matched to the use. So we have three different glass point holders on offer:

• Connection straight/flat

• Connection 33.7/ 42.4/ 48.3

• Crossbar glass holder for round bars

A straight connection is certainly the easiest to install. All you need to do is drill a hole for an M8 or M10 screw. However, since glass is an inelastic material, the distance between the individual glass point holders must be accurately measured beforehand. It would also be an option to drill the holes in the wall first and then match the holes in the glass pane to them. Because the holes in the pane can be done more accurately than those in the wall (depending on the stone, restrictions are given or a slight slippage is possible).

Our connections for round bars ensure a wide choice. Thus, three different diameters of the rods are possible: 33.7, 42.4 or 48.4 millimeters. The diameters of the glass point holders in this category can be selected between 30 and 52 millimeters.

Crossbar glass holders can be perfectly installed on railing posts. Here we have two models to choose from: Glass point holders for 12 or 16 millimeter diameter crossbars. These are the most common standards for partial elements of railing posts.

To ensure the easiest and smoothest installation of glass point holders, we also offer the appropriate accessories and tools. Thus, we have rubber slopes in all sizes and the hook wrenches that are important for installation. This allows the cap, which acts as a screw, to be perfectly tightened without being scratched. After all, the robust, stainless and noble V2A or V4A stainless steel should develop its full visual impact.
